HISTORY OF THE DUO

 

After meeting to Hypokhâgne, they stop their studies and decide to begin together a career of artist. They begin on the radio, where they use a lot of game words .

Then, they  do cinema where they evolve to a more visual and scenic register, but they always keep the two pillars of their humor: the nonsense and idiocy. Most of the time, Eric incarnates the role of the idiot and Ramzy is a little more lucid.

The duo begin its career on Fun Radio some Saterdays at the end of the evening, "the Eric and Ramzy Show" is diffused each day from 19 to 20 o'clock. On this occasion, their team grows: Fred "The humorist" and Vincent "all alone" join them. At this moment is born the play from the spoonerisms (it's the ancestor of the Eric and Ramzy's words).
At the same time, they begin in the televion (M6). They make sketches of 5 minutes with the Eric and Ramzy's words at the "Palais des Glaces"'s place.
Then they participate to the series H. It's diffused on canal Plus, where they incarnate the role of male nurse (Eric) and a stretcher-bearer (Ramzy), with Jamel Debbouze who plays the receptionist's role.

In 2001, they play in "La Tour Montparnasse infernale". In this film, they incarnate two idiots windows cleaners. It's a parodies of "Piège de cristal". The film shows the idiot gags of the duo with the cold violence of the hostage-taking. 


In 2003, they appear beside Kad and Olivier in the emissions "Saturday night in live" and "Pecan Pie" beside Jim Carrey. In 2004, they produce the televised series "Les Nicole". They also are the heros of the comic film, "Double Zéro", parody of James Bond's films. They incarnate secret agents who stand up to Edouard Baer. 

 
December 2004, they release in the hall, the film "Les Dalton" where Eric and Ramzy incarnate Joe and Averell, two of the four Dalton brothers' . It's a rare film where Eric has hair. This film attract more than two millions of spectators.

In 2007, they play in the film "Steak". This film is a public failure because it was showed such as a populair comedy whereas it was reserved to an informed public.

June 2008, they released "Seuls Two", their first film as realisators.
Since September 2009, Ramzy shows the French version of "Pimp My Ride" on MTV.
